Early Life and Educational Foundations:

Born in Zaria, Northern Nigeria, to proud parents Mark and Monica Ladele, Michael hails from Oka in Ondo State in the southwest part of the country. In 1972, he made the monumental decision to leave his native country for Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to pursue higher education and build his future.

A man of sharp intellect and technical aptitude, he attended Temple University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1977. He continued his academic pursuits at La Salle University, graduating with a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) in 1986. Armed with a unique blend of engineering and corporate skills, he enjoyed a distinguished career at the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) from 1981 to 1994, serving in senior engineering management positions within the organization.

Spiritual Awakening and Call to Ministry:

In 1987, His life was eternally anchored when he met his mentor, the late Pastor Benjamin Smith, at Deliverance Evangelistic Church in Philadelphia. It was there that he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. He was later baptized by Dr. Wesley Pinnock of True Light Fellowship Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Under his mentors’ spiritual guidance and rigorous tutelage, he received his formal mission training and answered his true calling to serve.

In 1994, God officially called him to launch his own ministry, IBPR. He balanced this new mantle while faithfully serving under the leadership of his senior pastor, Dr. Pinnock, for twenty years. In 2015, Michael and his wife Louvenia joined Bethel Deliverance International Fellowship of Churches under the leadership of Bishop Eric Lambert Jr., where they continue to carry out the covenant task of leading souls for God’s Kingdom.

A Lifelong Passion for Global Missions:

His heart has always beat for the vulnerable, and he has dedicated over twenty-one years to deploying missionary teams back to West Africa. Michael who speaks several native Nigerian languages, he has used this unique asset to bridge cultural barriers and bring comfort directly to diverse communities.

His extensive humanitarian and missional footprint includes:

• Educational Development: Supporting the conceptual design and 2008 construction of the True Light Christian Missionary Academy in Lekki-Lagos, Nigeria.
• Regional Outreach: Deploying with a Medical Outreach and Evangelism Team to Nigeria and Accra, Ghana, in November 2013, followed by subsequent Nigeria annual mission visits to the region from 2014 through till present.
• Crisis Relief: Spearheading mission teams in 2017 and 2019 to the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp in Benin City, Edo State. There, IBPR provided critical relief to over 5,000 widows and orphans who lost families or were displaced by the campaign of violence led by the Boko Haram terrorist organization.
• Infrastructure & Corrections (2024–2025): Funding, designing, and constructing a clean-water borehole and overhead water tank system, alongside a full church renovation, for the RCCG House of Glory Parish in Isan Village (Epe Local Government Area, Lagos). During this same period, the missionary team visited and ministered inside Kirikiri Prison and the Boys’ Correctional Home on Kudiratu Abiola Way in Oregun-Lagos.
• Orphanage Care: Providing ongoing advocacy and physical support to the Solutions To Our Generation (STOG) orphanage center in Ibadan, Oyo State.

A Legacy of Kingdom Service

To further align his decades of field experience with higher spiritual education, Dr. Ladele earned his Ph.D. in Missions, Evangelism, and Church Growth through Newburgh Theological Seminary in Newburgh, Indiana, in June 2021.

Today, He continues to look toward the future with a vibrant passion for the gospel. His ultimate desire is to collaborate with profit and non-profit organizations to construct a permanent, modern medical facility in the heart of the Nigerian communities IBPR serves. He and his family strive daily to live out their ministry motto: “We are the church where the mission of Christ is meeting the needs of the people,” working tirelessly to always “Make the Kingdom Proud.”
